It's starting to seem like the new Art lens for Sigma is out in the wild! I think I might rent one of these later on in the summer. It's so great to hear LearningCameras.com give it such a strong overview. I think Sigma needs more of this kind of recognition and hopefully this lens will get them there. Can't wait to see some test images!

I'm REALLY interested in what's going on with this lens now. Internal zoom and focus, heavy metal body (just shy of 2lbs!), long focus throw for precision focusing...it's got all the hallmarks of a really, really pro lens for half the price.
