Ep. 94 - New from Gibson! The “Aw, man” level of relicing
Fortin Amplification 33 Clean Boost (stab: Blackout Effectors Blunderbuss Fuzz)
Amp Designer Mike Fortin has teamed up with Meshuggah to make this
20db, single knob, clean boost pedal. Not overdrive or distortion which keeps the natural vibe of your amp
Additional input for channel switching lets you boost the distortion channel but not the clean channel (or vice versa)
Switch channels and turn the pedal on/off with a single button press
True bypass, hand built in Canada
Gibson Burstdriver Les Paul (stab: Catalinbread Adineko)
A Les Paul with a built in analog overdrive
Totally a normal Les Paul otherwise
On the control cover on the back is a battery compartment and three trim pots for Level, Tone, and Gain
From the Custom Shop for $5700 GIBSON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Who is this guitar for?
Should they have done this on a much cheaper Les Paul like a Studio or Faded?
Is this better than having any one of the myriad boost pedals out there?
This also happened https://www.gearnews.com/gibson-les-paul-standard-chipped-damaged-site/

Each mode has a specific function that is altered by the Depth knob as well as one that is controlled by the expression pedal
Expression can control delay time, or special feature of each mode
Still features the amazing EP-3 preamp circuit but runs internally at 22 volts
True or buffered bypass w/trails available via internal dip switch

He usually posts them on his Facebook page! And he has a Reverb Shop!
Scarab Deluxe $200
Tonebender type pedal but with a lot more going on
Bias knob controls the bias of the 3rd transistor. Fully CCW is very splatty, but still musical, fully CW is more overdrivey and a good jumping off place for “fuzz haters”
FAT Control adjusts the low end at the input of the circuit which changes the fuzz amount and saturation
FAT control can go from snappy, fast response, lower gain sound to really thick and saturated https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1iNAtEmeSo
Fuzz Mutant $180
I know the common way to describe OD and distortion and Fuzz is to talk about "grit", but this mutated fuzz seems to have "grip".”
Seems to have that “squelchy” thing more than the Scarab.
Can get so overboard it turns into some weird octave monster
