Basic Audio (Thanks Ranger Ryan!) (stab: OBNE Haunt Fuzz)
If you're looking for some original dirt circuits, Basic Audio is one of the best places you can go. His pedal catalog is quite large which provides plenty of options and not only that, he's open for custom work. He often released special editions of pedals that have unique enclosures. He usually posts them on his Facebook page! And he has a Reverb Shop!
Scarab Deluxe $200
Tonebender type pedal but with a lot more going on
Bias knob controls the bias of the 3rd transistor. Fully CCW is very splatty, but still musical, fully CW is more overdrivey and a good jumping off place for “fuzz haters”
FAT Control adjusts the low end at the input of the circuit which changes the fuzz amount and saturation
FAT control can go from snappy, fast response, lower gain sound to really thick and saturated https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1iNAtEmeSo
Fuzz Mutant $180
I know the common way to describe OD and distortion and Fuzz is to talk about "grit", but this mutated fuzz seems to have "grip".”
Seems to have that “squelchy” thing more than the Scarab.
Can get so overboard it turns into some weird octave monster
