I've been trying to find some ways I can challenge myself photographically lately. Everything from shooting style options to subject themes, etc. I couldn't find anything I was really happy with trying out.
This morning I was listening to episode 2 of RAW Talk and Jared & co. suggested a really interesting idea: Cover up your LCD (or fold it back in my 60D's case) and don't look at your results. Limit yourself to 36 shots and do like like the old days. Throw it way back to the basics.
I think it's such a great idea and I'm really hoping to try it out soon. Maybe I'll have some time this weekend...
(There's something so nerve racking about not having any idea what your photos look like until days later. It'll be fun to get that back, as crazy as that sounds.)
