I've been meaning to post about these logos for a while now.
The Nuace Software logo is absolutely one of my favorite logos of all time. The "N" is created by the apostrophies (or separated quotation marks I guess). I saw this on their headquarters building in Burlington, MA. I always thought it was a nice enough logo, but once I saw it against an actual surface it really hit me what was going on. Brilliant.
Dragon Dictate is one of Nuance's premier software suites. Looking over the logo for that this morning I found that it is again an apostrophy or even a comma. The use of negative space in both of these logos is great. I wouldn't change a thing. Oh and if you're unfamiliar with what Nuance does, they create dictation software for Mac and Windows.
